Light Speed

About This Event

Some use hyperdrives. Others use sheer brainpower. Light Speed is a fast-thinking quiz event where teams blast through challenges that test knowledge, intellect, and teamwork. It is sharp minds under pressure — no Jedi training required.

Rules

1. The competition is open to students from grades 9 to 12.
2. Each team will comprise two members.
3. Top 6 teams to qualify in the preliminary round will advance to the final round.
4. The decision of the quiz master will be final and not subjected to any change.
5. Participants will not be allowed to use any reference material.
6. Replacement of participants will not be permitted once selection is done.
7. Respectful Behaviour: All participants are expected to maintain a respectful and professional demeanour throughout the competition, whether interacting with fellow contestants or event organizers.
8. Disqualification: Any violation of the rules, unethical behaviour, or failure to comply with the instructions provided by the event organizers may result in disqualification.
9. Judging Criteria: Number of Correct Answers, Time Management, Tie-breaker Performance.
