About This Event

Fashion travels faster than light, especially when the galaxy is the runway. Cosmic Couture turns the Star Wars universe into bold, wearable art. With iconic inspiration, teams bring characters, planets, and moments to life that are truly out of this world.

Rules

1. Theme: Fusing Futurism with Fantasy - Celebrate the fusion of futuristic style, where cosmic couture meets the power of the Force. Participants can channel celestial bodies, constellations, galaxies, and sci-fi aesthetics into their designs. Explore the epic saga through fashion that captures the essence of heroes, villains, and the cosmic battle between light and dark. It's a runway where cosmic dreams walk tall to display a stellar showcase of creativity and galactic glamour.
2. Eligibility: The competition is open to students from grades 9 to 12.
3. Each participating team must consist of a minimum of 6 students and a maximum of 8 students.
4. Teams must prepare a storyboard detailing their concept and the inspiration behind their designs.
5. A brief narration (max 1 min) explaining the concept should be presented before the show begins.
6. Each team will have 5 minutes on the ramp to present their outfits aligned to the theme.
7. No material will be provided at the venue.
8. Teams must submit their storyboards, audio files, and any special requirements by 07.07.2025.
9. The submission of music can be made to the email mailus@npsjayanagar.com by 07.07.2025.
10. Kindly ensure the name of the school is clearly mentioned while submitting the music.
11. Any form of obscenity will lead to the debarring of the team from the competition. Teams are expected to maintain decency.
12. Negative marking if participants exceed the time limit.
13. Teams have to bring their own props.
14. Respectful behaviour: All contestants are expected to maintain a respectful and professional attitude towards each other, the judges, and the competition staff.
15. Intellectual Property: Designs created during the competition remain the intellectual property of the contestants. However, by participating, contestants grant permission for the competition organizers to share their designs for promotional purposes.
16. Disqualification: Any violation of the rules, cheating, or misconduct may result in immediate disqualification from the competition.
17. Judging Criteria: Theme adherence, Creativity and originality, Design cohesion, Technical execution, Stage presence.
