About This Event
Code squadron is a hands-on, fast-paced hackathon where developers and enthusiasts come together to build something exciting in a short span of time. The event is all about teamwork, problem-solving, and having fun with tech.
Rules
- Each team consists of two to three students only (no individual entries).
- Total time to develop your project: 4 hours.
- Internet usage, AI tools, or mobile devices are not allowed.
- Only standard Python, Jss, Css, HTML and Java libraries can be used.
- Topic will be given at the time of event.
- Projects must be built during the event. No pre-built projects will be allowed.
- Teams must develop a medium to high level innovative application with brief documentation using Python or Java.
- Deliverables include project code, working demo, idea diagram and presentation.
- All participants must bring formatted pen drives.
- Teams must be ready to explain any solution to the judges if asked.
- Judges decision is final and binding.
- All participants must uphold integrity, originality and respect team spirit.
- Respectful Behaviour: All participants are expected to maintain a respectful and professional demeanour throughout the competition, whether interacting with fellow contestants or event organizers.
- Disqualification: Any violation of the rules, unethical behaviour, or failure to comply with the instructions provided by the event organizers may result in disqualification.
- Intellectual Property: Content created during the competition remain the intellectual property of the contestants. However, by participating, contestants grant permission for the competition organizers to share their content for promotional purposes.
- Judging Criteria: Problem-solving Logic, Functionality, Code Structure & Neatness, Creativity & Originality, UI Design, Team Collaboration & Presentation.
